Depends on what year and engine you are referring to. You listed neither. But it is easy to find out. Park the car on a level surface. Drain the oil and change the filter. Pour in 3.5 quarts of oil and start the engine. Let run for 1 minute and shut down. Wait 30 minutes and then check the oil level. Add as necessary to fill to the full mark. You now know the capacity. Now if you are talking about an older Beetle then only pour in 2.6 quarts (2.5 liters) to start with as that is the capacity of most old 60s, 70s era Beetles.
2.5 liters or 2.6 US qarts.
5 quarts ( 4.7 liters ) with filter change for your 4.0 L OHV engine
All with transverse engine 3.8 Liters, 4.0 Quarts
Check with your Specification guide - should be 2.4 liters
The size of the engine (5.3 litres) refers to the volume of the cylinders and not the oil requirements. Read the manual (on-line?) or consult the manufacturer / retailer.
4.5-5 liters
Well, Find out the capacity of your engine, say 2.5 liter, and there you go. a quart is just short of a liter, btw.
That is not enough info - you need EXACT engine model and which trans, as many vehicles offer more than one. We are NOT going to guess on something like that.
.7 liter on both
41/2qts, with a new oil filter being installed.
