Windclan, before he was leader, used to tease him about being Firestar's 'kittypet'. Onestar realized that, to gain the respect of his clanmates, he had to distance himself from Firestar and focus on friendships with cats within his own clan, not in different clans.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Firestar and Onestar first became friends after Firstar and Graystripe brought back WindClan. Then on a regular basis at Gatherings Firestar and Onestar would always talk.
