They have released two sets of Map Packs First Strike and Escalation and have announced that MW3 will be released on November 8 2011.
Though unlikely they may have time to release one final Map Pack before they begin gearing up for the Release of Modern Warfare 3. They can be a 3rd Map Pack only if it is released before Mid July 2011 for the Xbox 360.
The large Activision Corporation needs time for everything to be successful with the Modern Warfare 3 release and they have only 120 Days for everything to be completed and ready. They do not overlap releases and it is very complicated to do a worldwide release without any problems and break records like the Call of Duty Black Ops has done since the beginning of the release in November 2010.
The date of the release of the Resurgence Map pack for the PS3 MW2 was July 6 2010 and a third Black Ops Map Pack being released would take us way past July 6 2011 for the PS3 release to occur 30 days after the Xbox 360 release.
