22 maps in the new version Battlefield 3 Premium.
Battlefield 3 Premium edition is better because for the limited edition you would only get the map pack of back to karkand. For Premium edition, you recieve all of the premium benefits. You also get all maps pack for free, and in a two week advance from all other players with out premium.
There are a total of 20 new maps in the 5 Battlefield Premium DLC's. Along with those, there are about 20 new weapons, over 10 new vehicles, 4 new game modes, 30 new assignments, and 20 dog tags.

Here are all the expansions for Battlefield 3 Premium: Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, Armored Kill, Aftermath, and End Game. So there are five expansions that come with Battlefield 3 Premium.
