What Nixon said would bring about peace with honor?

There was a temporary peace in which the USA was allowed to pull out of South Vietnam in January 1973. In 1975, the corrupt and incompetent government of SV fell after a 55 day invasion by North Vietnam. He got peace and honor for the USA and it's allies, who did their best from 1955 to 1975 to save South Vietnam. Nothing anyone could do, could prevent the takeover by North Vietnam. Since South Vietnam could not save themselves, no other nation could do it for them.

Where do you buy a Meritorious Honor Award?

Good Luck. The Department of State has stopped issuing those medals back in early 90's because the actual cast medallion on the award is contracted by the maker. After the last major war before Iraq America has gone through, the medals were hardly being issued to military personnel. However, the contract with the maker was still being paid by the DoS. Since then, majority of the awardees were civilians. And since civilians are not big on medals, they switched to an expensive full framed certificate of the Meritorious Honor Award. Like most DoS employees, they brag about their certificates, diplomas, and achievements, not their medals because they don't get them as much as military do. So when the contract ended, they just stopped having them made. Now that military has gone back to war, DoS issues the certificates to military awardees but no medals. However, you can still get the ribbons for your ASUs. And if you really want the full sized medal of the Meritorious Honor Award, you'll have to wait until a WWII or Vietnam Vet auctions off his/her awards. Good Luck. Last time I checked, the price ranges between $200-$550. I could go higher in the future, if it ever reaches that high. Definitely, ridiculously priced.
