World War 1 and World War 2 were many battles between Germany and Britain.
Germany and Britain were on opposite sides during World War II so they didn't send Britain any planes except on bombing missions.

Britain had an alliance with Belgium. Belgium was invaded by Germany in order to advance on France. Therefore, Britain declared war on Germany and joined the Allied Powers. However, this was mainly an excuse to go to war. Really, Britain was opposed to Germany for many years since Germany started expanding itself as an overseas empire in 1885, which made Britain feel threatened. When World War I broke out, Britain jumped at the opportunity to fight Germany.
Yes but there were many other countries included aswell
by 1914 Britain had 250 ships compared to Germany's 56 ships.

There was a lot of war hysteria at the time ... Britain was, after all, at war with Germany (World War 1, 1914-1918).
Imperialism is about believing in a empire. It helped a lot. Germany was imperialistic, and actually, so was Britain. People say that WW1 was caused by Germany, but if Britain didn't have it's empire, then there wouldn't have been a war. See, Germany's leader, Kaiser Wilhem (or something like that) was realated to Queen Victoria and was invited to Britain many times in his childhood. He saw what Britain had gained from having a empire and wanted in. So, when he became leader of Germany, he started building ships to sail around the world and build Germany's empire. So, Britain really was the cause of WW1 (because of a unfortunate connection between Queen Vic and the Kaiser and what he saw when over in Britain).
Many European powers begin to decline, but the most obvious two are Britain and Germany. Britain is left devastated after the war, due to the Blitz and financial reliance on America. Germany as the loser of the War is carved up by the European powers into two different states, West Germany and East Germany
At the beginning of World War I, Great Britain declared war on Germany on August 4, 1914, following Germany's invasion of Belgium. Britain had a treaty obligation to defend Belgian neutrality, which was violated by Germany's actions. This declaration marked Britain's entry into the conflict and led to the mobilization of its military forces to support the Allies. The war quickly escalated, involving many nations and resulting in a protracted and devastating conflict.
