There is tons!!! Many of them are really cool. I suggest going to read them. One of my favorites is the story of the Good Samaritan. It’s a story about this guy who gets mugged and left on the street. The first man who walked by was a priest, and he walked on the other side of the road away from the injured man. The next guy was a Levite (assistant to the priest) who also walked by on the other side. Finally, a Samaritan walked by and helped the guy. He took him to an Inn to be cared for, and payed for his stay. So, what’s so ironic about it being a Samaritan? Well, Samaritan’s in that time weren’t very good people. The Good Samaritan showed Jesus command, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Most people who think that a neighbor is a friend or a family member. Incorrect. Your neighbors are everyone around you. Even your enemies. Jesus wants us to be kind to everyone, even if they hurt us. I recommend digging deeper into the book, because there are so many other cool stories he teaches.
