I have had to replace my 2002 Mazda Tribute Transmission at around 150,000 miles. I am not sure if this is normal, and all of my miles were mostly highway. I replaced it with a rebuild and it cost me around 3600 dollars.
I am assuming you meant fuel pump last on an Astro. I know several owners of Astros and usually they fail at about 140,000 miles.
For most cars that depends on how you drive it. Drive hard and fast and the fuel will not last very far
