Depends on the engine size, transmission, and ones personal driving habits.
The 69 only came with a 360hp 429 V8, C6 transmission. Driving on the highway when the speedlimit was 55mph, I would get 25mpg at 60mph. Driving habits did have a big impact, running it hard would suck your tank dry in a night. The fuel tank carried 24 gallons, back when I had it in high school gas was .99 cents a gallon (1980). Imagine filling it now at over 4.00 dollars a gallon. Very smooth riding, handled pretty well considering it weighed over 4,000 pounds and would pin you to the seat on hard take off. Would even smoke the tires without doing a brake stand. Would give any new car a run for their money. What fun it was!
Mine gets 28 mpg
