A normal pregnancy in horses lasts approximately 11 months around 340 days. Colts (a boy foal) tend to be carried longer than fillies (girl foals). Premature foals may be born and survive, with intensive care, after 310 days' gestation. Foals may, on rare occasions, be carried three to four weeks over time..

It can take from anywhere between half an hour to over three hours. The best thing to remember is be patient and don't get in the way.
You don't have to wait at all just click on the picture of the veteranarian(vet) in the reproduction box and that is generally all you have to do
Since the horse is a prey animal it's labor and delivery are very short. The first stage of labor can last several hours. The mare will be uncomfortable. She may pace, lay down repeatedly, nip at her sides like she has colic. The second stage is the actual birth of the foal. This stage can last up to an hour but is usually much shorter, around 1/2 hour is average. The third stage is the passing of the placenta, which can take a couple of hours. It's important to keep a bucket handy for this last stage. Once the mare has passed the afterbirth put it in the bucket for the vet to inspect. He will be able to tell if the entire placenta was delivered. If the entire placenta is not passed it could cause a serious infection for the mare.

*Footnote:Once the foal is born the mare will stand within a few minutes. As she gets up the umbilical cord will break, separating her from the foal. Do not try to cut the cord. This could cause hemorrhaging. When she stands and the cord breaks it acts as a cauterizer. It's hard to improve on Mother Nature.
If you mean the incubation period, that is 11 months. If you mean the actual "in labor" part, it can be from 12 hours to one day.
Well, all my horses took about 10 to 20 minutes, but the maximum amount of time would be about 1 hour, if struggling and receiving no assistance. I think the longest amount of time would be about an hour and 30 minutes.

You should know that if it has been over an hour, you should call the vet, because something could be fatally wrong.

There are three main stages. The first stage is the mare basically shifting about, getting anxious, ect. That can last for several hours. Stage two, her water breaks, and the foal comes. This goes about twenty minutes to an hour. The foal starts coming out about five to fifteen minutes after the water breaks. After the foal is completely delivered, then the final stage comes in to play; that's the passing of the placenta. That takes about an hour.
Well, she has to meat a boy first then, well you know, than she goes into labor and you get the point.
