Hydrogen has an atomic mass of 1

Therefore, NH3+ has a molecular mass of 17 (14 + (3x1))

Ergo, 1 mole weighs 17g.

1 mol /17g = number of moles in 1g (5.88 x 10-2)

0.0588/1000 = number of moles in 1mg (5.88 x 10-5)

Multiply this by 3, and you have the number of moles in 3mg: 1.764 x 10-4
