I assume zinc limits in this reaction. Balanced equation.

Zn + 2HCl -> ZnCl2 + H2

184 grams Zn (1 mole Zn/65.41 grams)(1 mole ZnCl2/1 mole Zn)

= 2.81 moles zinc chloride produced

20 mol HCl gives 10 mol H2 weighting 10 (mol) * 2 (g/mol) = 20 g Hydrogen, but ONLY when there is (just) enough zinc (also 10 mol Zn = 10*65.4 = 654 g !!) to react!

Zn + 2 HCl --> H2 + ZnCl2

What is the effect of olefin concentration on naphtha hydrotreating process?

Hydrotreating reaction is an exothermic reaction. The total reaction provides excess reaction heat; more is produced by the exothermic hydrogenation reactions than are required to support the endothermic cracking reactions.High Olefin conc. leads to high temp. rise due to hydrogenation reaction.This excess heat increases the reactor temperature and accelerates the reaction rate. Temperature rise can be controlled by injecting cold hydrogen or cold recycled quench into the reactors to absorb excess reaction heat.

What is the mass of hydrogen gas released from 2.70 g of aluminum metal and hydrochloric acid in grams?

I assume you mean excess hydrochloric acid. Balanced equation. 2Al + 6HCl = 2AlCl3 + 3H2 2.70 grams Al (1 mole Al/26.98 grams)(3 mole H2/2 mole Al)(2.016 grams/1 mole H2) = 0.303 grams hydrogen gas produced --------------------------------------------------

How can sodium hydrogen carbonate relieve a stomach with excess acid?

Sodium hydrogen carbonate is another name for sodium bicarbonate, which has the chemical formula NaHCO3. Stomach acid is hydrochloric acid that reacts with sodium bicarbonate in a chemical reaction to neutralize stomach acid. The chemical equation is HCl + NaHCO3 produces NaCl + CO2 + H2O.

Is more or less hydrogen produced when reacted with zinc insted of magnesium?

No, both magnesium and zinc produce the same amount of hydrogen when the same amounts react with excess of strong acid (on molecular base), though the second reaction is slower. The reaction equations can tell you more about why this is.Mg + 2H+ --> Mg2+ + H2Zn + 2H+ --> Zn2+ + H2
