51 months, from August 1914 to November 1918.
Canada, a dominion of Britain, was called to fight for Britain, and yes, many Canadian soldiers did die about 67,000 killed and 173,000 wounded
lots and lots of them
You had to be 17 to join up for the army in able to fight for Britain in WW1, but many boys lied about their ages, lads as young as 15 signed up and most were killed in action.
In Britain the Greenshank breeds in the months April-August, is seen on passage migration in the months September to October and some winter in Britain between October and March. So technically some Greenshank stay in Britain all year while others most likely some of the passage and breeding Birds may stay in Britain for only 1-6 months.

There are at least two: (1) Great Britain; and, (2) Britain, Virginia, USA.
From start to finish, forty-four months. Or, if you prefer, three years and eight months. Makes you wonder why we're still fooling around in Afghanistan after almost twelve years.

Im doing a history homework and i need answer's to these questions1. Why did France and Britain fight in the war?In which war? There were many, many conflicts historically between England, and later Britain as a whole, and France.2. Why did the Britishcolonies fight?Fight who and when?3. Why did Native Americans fight? If you mean why did they fight the American colonists, it was because they were being killed and displaced by a nation who saw the native Americans as being incapable of diplomacy, and basically took every chance they could to kill native Americans. This would also be why there were so many native Americans fighting on the royalist side during the American revolutionary war; under british rule, there would have at least been restrictions on the American ethnic cleansing.
The Battle of Britain was between GERMANY & BRITAIN. This was part of the their "European War" and occurred nearly 1 1/2 years before the US entered the war. The U.S only supported Britain after Hitler had cancelled Operation Sealion, which involved the suppression by bombing of Great Britain. U.S forces were vital to the Normandy landings that occured after Great Britain had won the Battle of Britain. However, many Americans did go to England and join the RAF to fight. The US was not fighting in the war(Pearl Harbor was yet to come). There were many Americans who felt it was their duty to help England and China fight these enemies.
For America about 45 months.
