4 cylinder will have two engine mounts and one transmission mount
Technically two. Front and rear. There are two more mounts attached to the transaxle.
94 and 97 are slightly different but will still fit non-the-less. More then likely you would also need the ecu that came with the 94 along with the wire harness. i don't believe the engine mounts are different but they could possibly be. regardless a little moddification can solve this. I swapped a 4efte starlet motor into a 91. all i needed was custom mounts, a re-worked wire harness, and the ecu that came with the 4efte engine. Ran like a champ.
2.6 quarts
3 one on the right another on the left under the pulleys and a 3rd in the back
Yes. The difference will be electrical connections not the motor mounts.
Not sure what you mean but, maybe broken motor mounts?
Don't know about 97 but my 95 Tercel with 5EFE gets between 42 to 44 mpg
It will fit after some major work. reshaping the firewall, finding/fabricating motor mounts are a start. check out neons.org
It is not the motor mounts
Dealer? Napa? Auto Zone? Advance auto parts? Unfortunately, the Motor Mounts for a 97 Park Avenue are a "Dealer Only" item. One very expensive piece of cast iron and rubber.
try having your motor mounts checked out
