∙ 11y agoOn average, cells are in interphase for about 20 hours, then mitosis/cytokinesis. Because the body has so many different cells with different functions, it's hard to estimate exactly how many are in interphase at any given moment. Since cells on average is under interphase for about 20 hours, it'll be best to say that most of the cells are in interphase.
