The four bodies of water that major rivers empty to are the Pacific Ocean, Artic Ocean, Indian Ocean and Atlantic Ocean. Those or some big lakes.

Lots of rivers flow into the Pacific Ocean. Not too many rivers flow into the Pacific Ocean from the United States, because we have mountain ranges that coalesce many streams / rivers into a fewer number of rivers than can cut through / around the ranges. None, only rivers empty into the Arctic Ocean. There is some very minor flow of water from the Pacific through the Bering Strait, and also mostly export of water from the Arctic Ocean to the Atlantic through the Fram Strait.
Usually other bodies of water - other rivers, seas, oceans, lakes etc.
