i use Etools, and there is a a "Boar's Head Italian dry sausage sweet" (never had this particular brand, but assume it's similar to any sweet Italian sausage in points) and it claims to be 3 pts. per ounce. i know.. it sucks; i love sweet Italian sausage too.
It would of course depend on the size of the links. On average you will get 5 to 7 links per pound
