On the 3.0 L and 4.0 L there are 2 oxygen sensors at the front and 1 oxygen sensor (which monitors your catalytic convertor efficiency) at the back after the exhaust gasses have passed through the convertor. On the four cylinder engine - 1 oxygen sensor at the front - 1 oxygen sensor at the back (downstream of catalytic convertor - monitors catalytic convertor efficiency) Helpfull
Is it the back one or is it the front one...?
There are two oxygen sensor, follow the exhaust coming out of the engine. one in the front and one in the back of the engine. if you engine code p0135 bank1 these is oxygen is located between firewall and engine. or p0755 oxygen located in front of the engine
On the 98 u have two oxygen sensors an upstream and a downstream. The upstream oxygen sensor is located closer to the front of the truck by the transmission. The downstream oxygen sensor is located on down torwards the back of the truck along the side of the frame.
I just got these fixed. There is a forward (primary) sensor and a back (secondary) sensor in front and back of the catalayic converter within the muffler.
The 1988 Toyota oxygen sensor is located on the air cleaner housing. You will find the sensor, on the back side of the housing.
The 2002 Ford Ranger camshaft position sensor is located on the back of the camshaft. The rear engine plate will need to be removed in order to view the sensor.
The 1990 Buick LeSabre oxygen sensor is located on the outside of the air cleaner housing. The oxygen sensor will be on the back side of the housing.
Sensor one is in the exhaust manifold on the back of the engine. Sensor two is in the side of the catalytic converter.
The O2 sensors are numbered from front to back. For V6 and V8 models bank one is whichever side cylinder #1 is on.
the oxygen sensor in located in the exhaust manifold under the intake manifold at the back of the engine
its located in the back of the motor.
First you need to know which one you are looking for. Your car has more than one oxygen sensor. Usually you'll have one in front of and one in back of the catalytic convertor and there may be one closer to the exhaust manifold as well.
