No the 390 is a big block the 302 is a small block.
james duff enterprises has everything that you'll need to swap in a 302
Balanced equation: 2H2S + 302 = 2SO2 + 2H20
( .054 inch spark plug gap ) according to fordparts.com for the 5.0 liter / 302 cubic inch V8 engine in a 1989 Ford Bronco
You expect an answer and you don't even list the year. Ford has been building the 302 ever since 1968 way before modern electronics. I suggest you do a Google search for an answer. It would take lots of space and time to describe all the sensors and their function. Sorry but I do not have that much time nor the space here to provide an answer. Maybe someone else does have the time.
It could be a 302 ( 5.0 liter ) or a 351 ( 5.8 liter )
