One, it is located usually just underneath the #5 spark plug, bolted into the exhaust manifold, it will have a "pigtail" wire that connects it to the wiring harness, be careful here, you may have to jack the car up to access the pigtail's connector, as it is usually easier to get to it from there.
Once you disconnect the pigtail, Ox sensor removal tool is available at auto zone, I use a deep socket 1/2 drive, 13/16" to pull mine, but the tool makes the first timer remove and replace the Ox sensor without breaking it, especially when you replace the it with a new one, as they are very delicate, if you need to diagnose whether it is working as it should, there is a simple method using the check engine light, respond to this and I will explain how to do this.

What is the engine in the Caprice? In the Suburban? If they are a 305/350 then they can be interchanged. I have a 1985 Caprice Classic with a 305 and the tranny came out of a 1987 Suburban. It depends on the engine.
