Yes you can. Preventing bruised toenails is a way in which toe pads or spacers are for. Not all people prefer these though because it may be harder for them to balance on their toes. The pads only supports blisters and rubbing of pointe shoes.

I might be mistaken in what I think toe pads are. If you mean padded feet with setae that are used to grip and stick to surfaces upside down and vertically, Geckos are most know for all of the species having toe pads. A few species of other reptiles in the skink and lizard family have also independently evolved this trait, but it's rare and you'd have to research which ones have it.
