Best Answer

Four.

A cat will also have, generally, five toes on each foot, four that touch the ground and one more (the "thumb") a short way up the back of the leg. There is a mutation ("polydactyly") that results in cats with six toes on some or all feet, and the current record-holder for polydactyl cats has, if I recall correctly, two feet with six toes each and two with seven.

One on the end of each leg. So that's six. Two on the rear two legs and one on each of it's forelegs.
