Four.

A cat will also have, generally, five toes on each foot, four that touch the ground and one more (the "thumb") a short way up the back of the leg. There is a mutation ("polydactyly") that results in cats with six toes on some or all feet, and the current record-holder for polydactyl cats has, if I recall correctly, two feet with six toes each and two with seven.
