Well, I'm Romanian and I think Romanian people are pretty much like other foreign people.I have traveled enough to see that no matter where you are, you'll always find families who care a lot about each other and families that are not very united.I do care about my entire family but there's a big difference between the love for my parents and the love for my aunt/uncle/etc.That doesn't mean I wouldn't help them anytime.I spend enough time with my parents, we respect each other, we help each other and as far as I know,most of Romanian families do the same way.
Most Romanians who live in cities live in cement apartments, left from the Communist time. Now, nicer houses are being built.Living in the country, there are mostly farms and farmers. Many of the farms are very old. In Northern Romania there are very many monasteries, in need of nuns. Thus, many people live in the mountains.
