There is about a few people now! I have an a great-grandmother that i still alive from the 1800 she was born in 1895 and she is 116 years old and just to let you know this letter tat i am writing is today Monday,May 9, 2011

On 17 June 2015, the number of confirmed cases went down to two: Susannah Mushatt Jones of the United States, who was born on 6 July 1899, and Emma Morano-Martinuzzi of Italy, who was born on 29 November 1899. There are probably several unconfirmed cases in addition to these.

As of 21 April 2018, there are no longer any living people who were born in the 19th century. The last one was Nabi Tajima of Japan.
