What we today call the Persian Wars occurred 499-449 BCE, a century before Alexander.
Alexander invaded and captured the Persian Empire 334-324 BCE.
While some casualty figures are mentioned for a couple of battles, we have no overall figures of the number of battle casualties or the number of civilian men women and children killed as a side effect, or the numbers who starved to death as a result of ravaged lands. It was probably in the millions - glorious victories indeed.
It led to the eventual takeover of the Persian Empire by the Macedonian Alexander the Great.
The Spartan Leonidas did not train Alexander the Great. The Leonidas who trained Alexander lived far after the Persian Wars.

Alexander the Great spent about six months in Egypt. This was part of his campaign against the Persian Emperor, Darius III.
