Medically no. Nothing at all wrong with it. The only thing you have to watch out for is what if you wake up and your house is on fire. Think about it.
Take your spouse to get it checked out. He may have restless leg syndrome or possibly sleep apnea . Both can be medically treated.

It sure did for me :( (and having looked around - I see hundreds of people have said the same thing. Medically - it shouldn't. My surgeon said it was impossible for it to cause insomnia - but I had mine out 4 months ago, and haven't had a good night's sleep (unmedicated) since.
