There are eight individuals who die during the play, three of them offstage :
Hamlet himself, King Claudius and Queen Gertrude, Polonius, Laertes, Ophelia, and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. Hamlet's father is dead before the play opens, and only his Ghost appears.
(It's also implied that the servant Reynaldo dies, although that has to be interpreted.)
Many people died in the play 'Macbeth'. Many of them were nameless, and unnamed, in the battles against enemies inside and outside of Scotland. For example, the play began with the struggle to protect Scotland from a Norwegian invasion and Scottish treachery. Throughout the play, there were references to the suffering of the people, and the death and disappearance of loved ones, during the royal years of the Macbeths. And the play ended with another, bloody, final battle to overthrow Macbeth.
But 14 victims were named. For example, the rebel Macdonwald was beheaded by Macbeth, in Act 1 Scene 2. The Thane of Cawdor was executed by orders of King Duncan, in Act 1 Scene 4. King Duncan and his chamberlains were stabbed to death by Macbeth, in Act 2 Scene 2. Banquo had his throat slit by Macbeth's three hired murderers, in Act 3 Scene 3. Macduff's wife and children were stabbed to death by Macbeth's hired murderers, in Act 4 Scene 2. THe three murderers were killed in anger by Macbeth I am not sure what scene though.Lady Macbeth committed suicide in an unspecified way, in Act 5 Scene 5. Young Siward was killed by Macbeth's sword, in Act 5 Scene 7. Macbeth was killed by Macduff's sword, in Act 5 Scene 9.
In the comedies there are hardly any. In Cymbeline which is sometimes counted as a tragedy and sometimes as a comedy, two people die. Hector dies in Troilus and Cressida which is sometimes counted as a comedy and sometimes as a tragedy.
But the tragedies and histories are another story. In those plays people die like flies. In Hamlet, King Hamlet dies before the play starts and in the course of the play Polonius, Laertes, Ophelia, Claudius, Gertrude, Hamlet, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern all die. Eight people (not counting the King) in one play alone. In Richard III Clarence, King Edward, Hastings, Dorset, Rivers, Buckingham, Edward V, the Duke of York and eventually Richard die--that's nine people.
Exact numbers are difficult because many of the histories and tragedies contain battle scenes during which it is difficult to say how many unnamed extras are killed.
Nine people are known to die in total in King Lear.
These are Cornwall, Oswald, Regan, Goneril, Edmund, Gloucester, Cordelia, Lear and one unnamed servant to Gloucester who dies trying to defend his master.
5 people die: Brabantio, Roderigo, Desdemona, Emilia, and Othello.
Four people die: Roderigo Desdemona Emilia Othello
Desdemona, Othello, Emilia and Roderigo.
Rodrigo is stabbed by cassio and killed. Bianca does not die.
Four: First RODERIGO Second DESDEMONA Third EMILIA Fourth OTHELLO However it is implied that Brabantio has also died during the story and we know that Iago will die in the near future after a drawn out punishment.
Brabantio is Desdemona's father who strongly opposed Othello's eloping with her. When the Senate finds that their marriage is legit, he is very unhappy. He dies of a broken heart.
Cassio is still alive by the end ofOthello. This is the only area in which Iago fails in his scheme. It was intended by Iago that Cassio die and he uses Roderigo to try and accomplish this but Roderigo fails (though he severely wounds Cassio). The concept demonstrates that not everything can be coldly calculated. Life is extremely unpredictable.
Desdemona, Othello, Emilia and Roderigo.
William Othello Wilson died in 1928.
In Act V.
Desdemona is murdered by Othello her husband. On stage Othello normally smothers her with a pillow. Othello feels that she is a liar and cheated on him with his ex-lieutenant Michael Cassio, (who Othello believed was killed already by Iago).
Rodrigo is stabbed by cassio and killed. Bianca does not die.
No, in "Othello" by William Shakespeare, Bianca does not die in the play. She is a minor character who survives until the end.
Four: First RODERIGO Second DESDEMONA Third EMILIA Fourth OTHELLO However it is implied that Brabantio has also died during the story and we know that Iago will die in the near future after a drawn out punishment.
so if there are many enemy people they pretend to be dead so they wont die
Brabantio is Desdemona's father who strongly opposed Othello's eloping with her. When the Senate finds that their marriage is legit, he is very unhappy. He dies of a broken heart.
there are many ways he can when you played him in halo2 and you die or you play him on 3 and die but he does not die on game
so many people die like 12.
70,000 people die on their birthday
