Computer means a electronic device which computes . when computer(PC) was discovered that was the first computer(PC) but as i said computer means a device which computes so even a calculator is a computer when computer(PC) was discovered there where 132 computing devices.
When John Vincent Atanasoff in Ames, Iowa finished his electronic digital computer in early 1942 it was the only electronic digital computer in the world. Shortly after that he moved on to war related work and the university dismantled the machine to clear the basement where it was to add more classrooms. There were again no electronic digital computers anywhere in the world.
When Tommy Flowers of the British Post Office finished the Colossus Mark I electronic digital computer in December 1943 for Bletchley Park to help break the German High Command's cyphers, it was the only one in the world. However between June 1944 and June 1945 nine improved Colossus Mark II electronic digital computers were built and the original Colossus Mark I was upgraded to a Colossus Mark II. This was the only electronic digital computer produced in a quantity greater than one before the 1950s. In late June 1945 eight of the Colossus machines were ordered destroyed by Winston Churchill, the remaining two Colossus Mark II electronic digital computers were kept operating until about 1959 or 1960 breaking Soviet cyphers when they too were destroyed.
When Eckert and Mauchly, et al of the US Army's Project PX finished ENIAC in November 1945 it remained classified through December 1945 and January 1946 while it ran a simulation of Edward Teller's first Hydrogen Bomb design (called "The Super") for Los Alamos, showing that the design could not work. When ENIAC was declassified in February 1946 it became the only electronic digital computer known to the public (the two remaining Colossus Mark II electronic digital computers at Bletchley Park in England were still classified until the 1970s).
Zero, only very big and rich companies could afford to have it.
None, when computers were first made they were one of a kind machines typically made by the university or government agency that was going to use them.

The Zuse Z1 was never sold. Only one prototype was ever built.
Most of the early computers were not "sold", they were usually built on contract to a government agency and typically on a "cost + fixed fee" basis. Often the fixed fee was $1, so no profits were made, all the company building it got was experience and the technologies they developed in building it. In the US most government agencies contracting for computers (except the AEC) had their main sites (where the first computers were typically installed) on the east coast. The AECs first computers were installed in Los Alamos, NM and Illinois.
The first computer which was intended to be sold to individuals as opposed to companies was the Altair 8800, which was sold in kit form in 1975 for $439.
Apple's Macintosh computer was first sold on 24th January 1984.
Mac- 3,456,008 PC- 7,892,566 Dont thinks PC's are better, theyre not!
The Zuse Z1 was never sold. Only one prototype was ever built.

The first Apple computers were sold in 1976.
that is hard to say as a lot of computers are sold online or from person to person
400,000 computers sold
The Apple I was first sold in 1976.
