how many people in the world suffer from ocd
approx 2-3 % of the world population has it, i have it :)
Not that I know of. Obsessive complusive disorder is learned, or a coping mechanism in response to a trauma. Either way...it is a reaction to feeling you have no control. So you try to create control in your world/space. Therapy really does work...with the right therapist and a willingness to be open about what is really going on with you. There really is life after a diagnosis...be well
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a behaviour. Examples include repeatedly flicking a light switch a certain number of times or avoiding stepping on the cracks between paving stones in the street. These behaviours develop within a person usually as a coping mechanism or a way of making their world safe from a real or imagined threat/danger. So OCD can be a symptom of a phobia, but is not, in itself, a phobia.
It is estimated that approximately 1-2% of the global population may suffer from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) at some point in their lives. OCD is a common mental health condition that can significantly impact a person's daily life and functioning.
Not everyone craves symmetry, symmetry is an artistic style used by many artists. But on the other hand many artists use abstract concepts that have no symmetry at all. Symmetry in your mind, as in obsessive compulsive disorder, can affect how you think and make you do things that create the world in a perfectly clean way for you.
There is over 10.3 millon people in the world that have panic disorder
does it matter?? we dont judge people by if they are dissabled or pretty, we judge them by what kind of person they are. == == Not as far as we know. In fact, people have talked about how Shakespeare had a lot of medical and legal knowledge, more than an average person would at the time. This doesn't mean that he didn't have *any* mental disabilities. Most people in the world have a tiny bit of something, like narcissism or Obsessive-Compulsive disorder, or paranoia. In order for those things to be debilitating, though, they have to interfere with your life in a significant way, and as far as we know, Shakespeare didn't have anything that interfered with his life and work.
