Why get into fashion?
If you want to get into Fashion I would make sure that it's something you love. People get into fashion for all kind of reasons. Maybe they love clothes or designing. Or you could love just wearing awesome clothes.

I think that people can use fashion trends as a means of self expression. People love being the center of attention and showing the world how fashionable and stylish they are. Some people need help and advice when it comes to picking out stylish clothing so they turn to fashion trends to see what's hot and what's not. There are fashion stylists who do this for a living and LOVE it. My girlfriend went to FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in LA and is now a fashion stylist for Saks Fifth Avenue which is a HUGE deal. For people out there who love fashion but aren't sure about how to make it into a career but you know you have an eye for it, check out fidm's website at fidm.edu and talk to an advisor. You never know if fashion might be the career for you!
