In a full scale nuclear onslaught at best case scenario approximately 10'000+ nuclear warheads are launched these are called Minutemen, which means they are launched in less than one minute; these will then be followed by any other warheads between 30 seconds to no more than 3 minutes later.
A nuclear war has an average length of between as little as 5 minutes to maybe 5-6 hours.
In best case scenario the death toll of a full onslaught would be roughly 500'000'000 people dead, and in worst case scenario including radiation poisoning post effects the death toll could be so dramatically high as to threaten the existence of the human race ( if you want an accurate figure, 6'500'000'000+ casualties) bearing in mind this is ABSOLUTE WORST CASE scenario.
Though it does seem bleak, I hope you enjoyed this answer.
That would depend on yield, cities selected, and many other parameters.
There are over 400 nuclear reactors around the world.
Somewhat less than 200,000.
It is difficult to determine the exact number of nuclear bombs it would take to kill everyone in the world, as many factors such as location and size of the bombs would come into play. However, it is estimated that a few hundred strategically placed nuclear bombs could have catastrophic global consequences.
Nuclear power is a very strong source of energy with a high power density. It can produce large amounts of electricity consistently and reliably. However, the strength of nuclear power also brings risks, such as potential accidents and the issue of radioactive waste.
I believe the estimate was around 75,000
These days, depending on the size triggered, just one. One would be sufficient enough to cause a nuclear fallout in witch we will all be in a world of hurt.
About 30,000.
Around 400 nuclear warheads. China has the third largest nuclear arsenal in the world.
No way..!! In my opinion I think that nuclear weapons are not at all necessary or essential for this world....today people might say that they are necessary for national security and all....but what about the time when nuclear weapons were not even created..?? Even then there used to be wars and many people died as a result...but today...if you drop a nuclear bomb not only deaths occur but also the environment is damaged...more killings of the innocent occur...They might be able to scare away another country from attacking but....once a war starts and there is usage of nuclear weapons.....there is much much more damage that takes place than it would really have if nuclear weapons would not have existed... both on mankind and the nature...!!!
Tens of thousands.
Answer What your question has to do with relationships is beyond me, but I will answer your question. God help us all if there is a nuclear explosion anywhere near a populated area as many, many people will certainly die.
