Birth Control pills can fail when taking them perfectly. Normally, if you miss one pill during the course of the month, the risk of pregnancy isn't very high, unless it's one of the first pills of the pack. If you miss a pill, take the missed pill as soon as you remember, and the next at regular time, even if that means taking two pills at the same time. If you miss more than one, you may be at risk of pregnancy. Use a backup birth control method (like using condoms or abstaining from vaginal sex) until you've taken pills correctly for seven days.
If you are frequently missing pills, it might not be the right method for you. The most highly effective methods are the contraceptive implant and the IUD. Talk with your health care provider about options that don't require you to pick up a pack of pills each month, and to take a pill each day.
If you even miss one pill and are sexually active, you can get pregnant, not to mention missing several pills. The best bet would be to use some other form of birth control after missing a pill. Although I've known friends who have missed a couple in a month and not gotten pregnant, I think that is just really lucky though and would strongly advise against relying in that. Good luck!
That is playing Russian Roulette because it depends on each women's body. If you miss several pills, call your doctor for directions about what to do. ALSO just because pills look inconsequential, they won't work if they are started, missed, and restarted constantly.
if you miss one and then take 2 the next day you wont ovulate if you miss 2 pills you will
yes
Gosh YES!
You can only get pregnant if you are having sex. If you don't have sex and miss 2 pills, you're not pregnant.
No. If you have taken your pill everyday as you should have and didn't skip any pills your chance of getting pregnant is slim. If you did skip/miss pills yes there is a chance.
YES. You can get pregnant if you miss one at the right time of your cycle. You need to get in a comfortable daily routine of taking your pills so you remember to take them.
Yes, missing birth control pills increases the likelihood of getting pregnant.
you can be pregnant and still have all your normal monthly periods. i think im right in saying that you can get pregnant from missing only one of your daily pills... so yeah you could get pregnant from missing four pills. jenny x
absolutely do not miss a lot of birth control pills. If you consistently miss pills, you will get an irregular period (you could get a period like 3 times a month) and there is a very good chance you will get pregnant.
If you want to make sure you get pregnant, don't restart the pill.
It depends on what pill you are using, you can get pregnant from missing just one of the "mini pills" others you would have to miss 3 or 4 -
NO probably not
Very likely since you start ovulating when you miss the pill(s).
