Birth Control pills can fail when taking them perfectly. If you are frequently missing pills, it might not be the right method for you. The most highly effective methods are the contraceptive implant and the IUD. Talk with your health care provider about options that don't require you to pick up a pack of pills each month, and to take a pill each day.

∙ 13y agoIf you even miss one pill and are sexually active, you can get pregnant, not to mention missing several pills. The best bet would be to use some other form of birth control after missing a pill. Although I've known friends who have missed a couple in a month and not gotten pregnant, I think that is just really lucky though and would strongly advise against relying in that. Good luck!

∙ 8y agoThat is playing Russian Roulette because it depends on each women's body. If you miss several pills, call your doctor for directions about what to do. ALSO just because pills look inconsequential, they won't work if they are started, missed, and restarted constantly.
