There are 8 major planets, and 5 dwarf planets, in our solar system. There are also about a half dozen bodies that may be dwarf planets, though this status has not yet been confirmed. and more than a hundred more that may be considered in the future.
Outside of our Solar System, there are billions. These are called exoplanets.
In addition to the eight planets in our solar system, due to new equipment and new techniques, new planets are being found in other solar systems every week.
there are 8
1.Mercury
2.venus
3.earth
4.mars
5. Jupiter
6. saturn
7. uranus
8.neptune
there is dwarf planets behind neptune, including pluto.
First of all you should write "there"...not "their".
There are 8 recognized planets in the solar system:
Mercury
Venus
Earth
Mars
Saturn
Uranus
Jupiter
Neptune
Pluto was declassified as a planet a few years back.
It depends on whether you count major planets only, all planets in our solar system, or ALL planets in the entire Galaxy.
The 8 major known planets in order from the Sun are:
1. Mercury
2. Venus
3. Earth
4. Mars
5. Jupiter
6. Saturn
7. Uranus
8. Neptune
If you list ALL 13 known planets in order, including dwarf planets, they are:
1. Mercury
2. Venus
3. Earth
4. Mars
5. Ceres
6. Jupiter
7. Saturn
8. Uranus
9. Neptune
10. Pluto
11. Haumea
12. Makemake
13. Eris
Dwarf planets also fall under the category of minor planets, of which there are thousands in our solar system. As of 2017, the orbits of 734,274 minor planets were archived at the Minor Planet Center, 496,815 of which had received permanent numbers. The largest minor planet that is not considered to be a dwarf planet is Sedna.
In addition to our solar system, there are billions of other solar systems within our Galaxy, with billions of planets. These are called exoplanets.
In our solar system, there are eight (8) major planets and several "dwarf"
planets. Pluto was moved from the 'major' category to the 'dwarf' category
a few years ago.
Outside of our solar system, more than a thousand planets have been discovered
so far, and more are being added almost daily.
8- mercury venus earth mars Jupiter Saturn uranus neptune
Pluto used to be a planet but is now classed ad a special asteroid
There are 8 planets in our solar system, and several dwarf planets including Pluto in the Kuiper Belt.
There are nine planets in our solar system.
In addition to the eight planets in our solar system, due to new equipment and new techniques, new planets are being found in other solar systems every week.

how many zones in india ? and how many district in each zone ? what are there
Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars
Yes...it protects the inner plannets from larger asteroids or commets that would have the chance to collide with one of the inner plannets. They interact with these possble colliding objects throught there mass and gravity to collide with the objects or divert their path.
Earth is the only planet known to have only 1 moon.
the inner planets are closer to other thingsbut outter plannets are not
We might find out soon But first wait until 4970. I'M GUESSING I don't know
All Planets do not lie inside the asteororid Belt . The answer is False
All the planets in the solar system can fit inside of Jupiter with room to spare. So, all the planets put together would almost be twice the size of Jupiter.
the main planets in order of closeness to the sun are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Pluto is now known as a dwarf planet as it is too small to class as a planet.
There isn't one! The only planets between Earth and the Sun are Venus and Mercury, and neither of them have rings.
The word planet is from the Greek meaning wanderer. As the ancients looked up in the sky, they noticed that while some points of light moved in a circular motion (stars) others seemed to "wander" all over the place, sometime reversing direction. These "stars" as they didn't yet know about planets, were called wandering stars.
It takes a year to travle around the sun all plannets have a different year because a year is how long it takes to travel around the sun.http://http//www.answers.comsays "The period of time during which Earth completes a single revolution around the sun, consisting of 365 days, 5 hours, 49 minutes, and 12 seconds of mean solar time. In the Gregorian calendar the year begins on January 1 and ends on December 31 and is divided into 12 months, 52 weeks, and 365 or 366 days. Also called calendar year."
well to be reasonally there are 96 states on earth im not a scientist but i just know it!I hope this helps you on your question!
