Not many if you want to try it in Sligo I.T. DCU do analytical science which has some forensic science modules (Average around 400 points). There may be other courses, but there is little chance of having a career out of it in this country.
Edit: Due to the new initiative of 25 points for higher level maths, you can expect at least an increase of 25 points compared to last year, which was 425 in 2011/2012. So, about 450. Keep in mind, science is increasingly attractive to college applicants. If you do not have enough, consider looking at a level 6 in an IT (I went to IT Carlow). It will give you a great advantage although it involves an extra year. You can transfer to 2nd year of a science course after.
in your leaving cert how many points are needed to be an interior designer
You do not need to do the leaving cert to train to be a jockey. So zero.

No, not necessarily. What you do at leaving cert isn't so important, it's college that counts. To teach at leaving cert level, you need to do a chem related degree and then a H-dip. With a physics degree and H-dip you can teach leaving cert physics and leaving cert maths. With a biology related degree and H-dip you can teach leaving cert biology. The requirements for teaching junior cert are less demanding. A general science degree may suffice. Alternatively you could do a degree in Science education (my degree yay!) and then you can teach physics, chem, maths, bio, ICT at junior cert level and a choice of two from physics chem maths at leaving cert without having to do the extra years H-dip. i think that you are referring to the irish leaving cert. I assume it is a D3, (45 higher level CAO points or 5 for lower level)
You have to be more specific. There are many types. I.e. you don't need many points for electrical engineering compared to that of biomedical engineering for instance. Also, stating if it is the Irish leaving cert may clarify, incase there is another type of leaving cert in the world
It varies depending on the university and specific social work program. However, typically, you would need a minimum of 400-500 Leaving Cert points to be considered for a social work program in Ireland. It's always best to check with the specific university offering the program for their exact requirements.
Obviously it depends on what you would like to do.....
Around 450 to 500
There are typically no specific Leaving Cert points requirements to become a journalist. However, pursuing a relevant degree in journalism or a related field, gaining experience through internships and building a strong portfolio of work are important steps to entering the field.
