There were several poor women mentioned in The Bible. I can name the Mother of Jesus who was so poor they could not even afford an extra donkey so both could ride to betlehem for the census. There was another instance that the Bible mentioins another very poor wowan who deposited her last two coins for the church. Jesus mentioned her as giving more than anybody else because it was all she had.
