Kennedy and Ford were members and big supporters, Ford winning some award from The BSA as president ( when he was president). While far too old to be a member the Rough Rider himself- Theodore Roosevelt supported the movement, he also supported the Boone and Crockett club ( hunting) and the N.R.A. and other outdoorsmanlike- to coin a word activities.
