Every other day I do 3 sets of 50 - military style (hands below shoulders, elbows in and pointing back , flat back). I rest about 2 minutes between sets.
Every now and then i mix it up (hands closer/further apart, or futher/back of the shoulders)
I am 43 and 6 foot 176 pounds.
I don't know if this is average or not for a guy my age ...just putting it out there
I am 20 and before i started to run everyday and train weights i could do about 20 press ups at a struggle. After about a month of training i could do around 30, 20 was a piece of cake. I have been running almost religiously now every day and doing weights 3-4 times a week for around a year and a half only taking days off when i really cant do it and the most press ups i have done really trying to go for it is 103, so there is certainly a vast improvement. Hopefully this has answered your question and maybe persuaded you to do the right thing and keep fit.

A 12 year old should be able to do around 25 pushups in 30 seconds. This is a reasonable answer. Hope I helped you!
A ten year old can do about a good 30 push ups every day! that's what they should be able to do!
im 13 and i can do about 45 to 50 push ups but i don't know if that's the maximum my girlfriend said its amazing
I Think they need to do 100 push up until they get strained !
well i did 50 and i am 11 years old so i say a 11 year old girl should be able to do at least 20 push ups
as many as he/she can, or as many as you teach her/him

a fifteen year old should be able to do atleast 110 sit ups in two minutes.
Try to do 20, then rest for as long as you need and then push yourself to do 25 and then rest and then 30, catch my drift?
