- You DIDN'T know how to do it! One pound can make four quarter pounders. And 3/8 is more than 1.4 but < 2/4, so that fractional part could make one quarterpounder. Altogether, you can make 4 times 4plus one, or 17 quarter pounders.
It depends on how much meat per taco. Two ounces per taco would be 50 pounds.
400x16=6400 ounces
6400/4=1600 burgers
It takes four 3/4 pound burgers to use 3 pounds of hamburger meat (4 times 3/4 equals 3). You can divide the 12 pounds into four groups of 3 pounds. So, if you multiply 4 by 4, you get 16. You can make 16 3/4 pound burgers from twelve pounds of hamburger meat.
Approximately 15-20, depending on how big you like your burgers. Actually you can make up to 40 patties with 10lbs of ground beef. A quarter pound patty is average if you are ordering a burger out. Although I prefer a larger 1/3 to 1/2 lb hamburger a 1/4lber is fine.JN ...Or, 10 man-burgers. NA

50 pounds for quarter pound sandwiches, or 66.6 pounds for third pound sandwiches.
If you want to make 180 half pound burgers you will need 90 pounds of meat.
It depends on what are you making, and who is eating. I live in a family with ten kids and for tacos we use about 3-5 pounds of meat per meal and get about two tacos give or take a couple people, so for 130 people you would need somewhere between 39 and 65 pounds of meat for tacos. If you are making burgers, and they are say a quarter pound, and you want everyone to be able to have two, then you need a half-pound per person, so 65 pounds. 130 pounds if you are going to make thick half-pound burgers, or you are feeding a bunch of football teams, or people who might graze on three or four quarter pound burgers over the length of a long picnic. :)
divide 4 by 100, you get 25. 25 1/4 pounders... I assume you miss-read, but this is the correct answer. 1/4 pound burger = 1/4 of a pound of meat = 4 burgers per pound 4 per pound * 100 pounds = 400 burgers.
