2bbl 301s had 130 hp, 4bbl 301 had 150
not sure of all makes but they were widely used on 80-82 camaros and similar F-bodies (firebird etc) I have a 1977 Firebird I pulled my complete 350 engine from a 1978 Camaro and with it came a 4bbl Q-Jet by Carter. The owner of the camaro said that is what the car came with and it was all original. Hope that helps.

The 1996 4.3L engine doesn't have a carburetor, it is fuel injected.
stock timing on a 400 small block Chevy 2/4 bbl engine is 4 degrees btdc. depending on how the engine is built however, i.e. rebuilt to stock or built for performance, the timing may be up to 8 degrees plus or minus tdc or more depending on valve timing and cam timing.
The base 305 4bbl had 170, the H.O. 305 had 190 and the 305 TPI had 215

First, what kind of carb. 2bbl.......4bbl....make, model, holley, roch. , edel., Is the engine cam'ed ? Stock ? Want more info? Get back to me on my message board.
There was 2 454 BB chevys in 1973 One was--240 HP@ 4000 RPMs. 4BBl carb. The other was--250HP @ 4000 RPMs. 4 BBL carb.
Z-28 - LG4 305 V8 165 hp (sold in California only) Z-28 - 350 (4bbl) V8 175 hp
Chrysler did not make an Imperial in 1978. However, the Chrysler New Yorker Brougham equipped with the 440 4bbl Lean Burn engine and standard rear axle ratio (I can't remember what the ratio was/is) was EPA rated at 10 city / 16 highway.
