How many quarts in a British liter?

A litre is the same on both sides of the pond. A British litre is the same as an American litre, Russian Litre and sub Saharan Africa Litre.

It is the "quart" which can vary as both the US gallon and US pint are both different from Imperial/UK Pints and gallons. (A quart being a quarter of a gallon, hence the relevance)

There are 0.879877 imperial (British) quarts in a litre

(and just for completeness....)

There are 1.05669 US quarts in a litre
