5 to 5 1/2 with a filter change. i suggest installing 4 qts and then checking the level using the dip stick. at that point it should indicate that you are about 1 qt low (the oil should cover the dipstick up to the lower part of the crosshatching). top it off with the 5th qt and then start the motor for 30 seconds or so to check for leaks. recheck the dipstick level and top off if necessary.
