Park the vehicle on a level surface. Drain the oil & change the filter. Add 4 quarts of the correct weight oil, start the engine and run for 2 minutes. Shut down and wait 30 minutes. Check the oil level and add as necessary to reach the full mark. You now know the capacity. Do not overfill.
