Rule of thumb is about 4-5. Pull out the dip stick wipe clean (which will show and/or say a "minimum" level) re insert take back out and check oil level. If it is still a little low(an 1/8" or so below below the fill line) add another quart.
My 95 Spirit takes around 5-6 quarts
