Try calling Freightliner - 1-800-385-4357. It appears only 10.5 quarts will drain and the rest of the total 19 quarts is in the torque converter and valve body. It is kind of a tricky deal to get the number of quarts correct.
About 12 quarts, but you won't get that much out without pulling the tranny and dumping the converter, For a normal oil change in the tranny you will use about 6 or 7 quarts.
a little over 7 quarts. I just finished doing a tranny service on one.
7.5 q for thr 4T45E tranny
6 or 7 qts of tranny fluid, when replacing transmission fluid
8 quarts with an empty converter 6 just for the tranny
7.5 q for thr 4T45E tranny
on an automatic transmission 5-6 quarts and on manual tranny 2 1/2 - 3
if the tranny is completely empty of fluid about 12-13 quarts
That would depend on how much fluid was removed. Was it a typical fluid and filter replacement or was the transmission removed. If the tranny was not removed. always start with about 4 to 6 quarts. If the transmission has been removed and the torque converter drained, then about 8 to 10 quarts.
approx 9 quarts
4-5 quarts. Depends on which tranny you have. Check your VIN number and search it to find out which one you have.
25-26 pints of Transmission Fluid Check level with engine running and oil warm. the dry capacity is 7 quarts in the transmission itself. a truck tranny pan can and filter can be added to any car, and it adds an additional 2 quarts. the converter, varies by engine. convertor diameter vs capacity ( quarts ) 10" = 3 quarts 11" = 3.5 quarts 12" = 4 quarts 13" = 5 quarts
