The 1992 Buick Regal transmission has a fluid capacity of 6.3 quarts. You can check the transmission fluid level with the transmission dipstick.
The 2004 Avalanche 1500 (with the 4L60E transmission) has a refill capacity of 5.0 quarts. The 2004 Avalanche 2500 (4L80E transmission) has a refill capacity of 7.7 quarts.
This vehicle do not have a transmission filter. All you have to do is drain the trans. fluid and refill.
you can change the fluid, but not the filter. drain the fluid from the drain plug on the bottom of the transmission and refill from the dipstick. the filter is only accessable by overhauling the transmission

If the transmission is an automatic, remove the bolts on the transmission pan and drain into an oil pan. Remove the gasket and filter, then replace both, torqueing to specification. Refill with ATF+4 fluid to the appropriate mark on the dipstick, starting with 2 quarts and topping off as needed.

Remove pan. Pull filter. Replace filter and gasket. Torqe to spec. Refill fluid to correct level.
The Odyssey has an internal transmission screen that is considered "non changeable". There is no other filter. It is pretty much a drain/refill transmission, but make sure to use only Genuine Honda ATF-Z1 fluid from your local Honda dealer. You will need to buy 4 quarts because is holds around 3.5. Chuck
