How many questions on this website are answered with a simple yes or no?

Probably quite a few ! Some people answer yes or no - either because they're lazy, don't actually know the answer or are 'trawling' for contribution points.
If I see a yes or no answer to a question I can positively contribute to - I usually replace the one-word answer with something more detailed.

There are MANY questions out there on this website, it takes time for MANY of them to be answered, you're not the only one who has this problem like some. I would if it has not been answered, send it to someone or find the closest relevant answer and use that as a base and wait a little longer before YOUR question is answered.

Wiki Answers cannot answer ALL questions, but MOST question. Although we have a very active community, there are too many questions to be answered. In addition to this, no, we do not answer all questions. Any questions that are against our T&Cs or the law will not be answered.

Why doesn't anyone on this website ask easy questions?
They do. Many of the questions here are quite easy to answer; that is why they have been answered already. Simple type "what is 2 plus 2?" or "what is a cat?" or similar questions into the green bar above. Others are somewhat more difficult, or even impossible, to answer completely and correctly. It is these which we see more often, because unanswered questions are brought to our attention so that they might be answered. So, it is not that people don't ask easy questions. It is just that we don't see them as often once they have been answered.
