The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department does not give an estimated population for raccoons. They do say that even though bobcats and coyotes prey on them for food, that the number of raccoons in Texas is not in decline.
Raccoons are not permitted in Texas as pets. They are a quarantine animal as potential rabies vectors and cannot be held by individuals without special permits which are virtually impossible to obtain. Raccoons do not make good pets anyway. I have raised a number of orphaned babies for release back to the wild and would never recommend them as pets.
No, raccoons are not allowed as pets in Texas without a permit which is difficult for anyone but a wildlife caretaker to obtain.
first of all, its spelled wild. second, there are plenty of wild animals that you can have as pets. some of them are banned in certain states, and legal in others. for example, you may not be allowed to keep a raccoon in texas, but it might be legal in idaho. almost any wild animal can be kept as a pet, but you have to have a license, and to get a license you have to be at least 21 years of age. personally, i dont encourage keeping wild animals captive. its cruel and not in their nature. it can also be dangerous to the owner. hope this helps!
I highly recommend that you contact the legal division of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department regarding the legality of the safekeeping of the (officially vulnerable) Galapagos tortoise.
It is Legal to posses a raccoon in the state of Ohio without a permit. It has to be vet checked and have a certificate to show it is disease free. You cannot bring a raccoon into the state of Ohio if you do not have a Certificate from a Licensed Vet.

Florida is one of three states where raccoon trapping is legal (Alabama and Wisconsin being the others). In law 3.1.16 of the floridian constitution, one is allowed to trap raccoons for recreative, sexual or nutrition purposes. An amendment made to this law in 2001, states that once one is done with said raccoon, he/she must dispose of it in a certain way. The way being wrapped in a walmart bag, then in a target bag, and finally a McDonald's bag, then thrown in the garbage
No!
Assuming both individuals are above the age of consent (which in Texas is 17), it is perfectly legal.
If you live in the forest or in a treehouse it is fully legal, but in a household it is not.
I think you have to have a permit
I don't think so.
If an entity has been "disenfranchised" (which I take to mean it is no longer recognized as a legal entity authorized to do business in the State of Texas), then it cannot collect dues in the State of Texas.

Butterfly knives, also known as balisongs, are not illegal in Texas. However, it is illegal to carry them with intent to harm. You can also go the safe route and get a balisong trainer--they are legal everywhere.
