The BAR has a selective fire switch, and could be set to either 300 rpm (5 per second) or 500 rpm (8.333... per second). Neither figure is really accurate though as it was fed by 20 round box magazines. And a good BAR man fired in short bursts. The recoil of the .30-06 rounds would throw off the aim after a few rounds, and tend to overheat the weapon.
The Browning 1919 machine gun is capable of firing at a rate of approximately 400-600 rounds per minute. This translates to about 6-10 rounds per second.

If you have a standard grade browning auto-5 shotgun, then it was made in 1906 if in 12 gauge. If you have one in 16 Gauge then it was made in 1919.
Both the BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle) and the Browning machineguns (series 1919) were made in caliber 30-06. HOWEVER, there were other calibers manufactured for special markets. Search Wikipedia for BAR, and look up some of the secondary calibers- they may be a surprise.
I can tell you two things. The Browning M1919 was invented in 1919, hence the name, and that played a major part in the ending of WWI. The only other thing I can think of is A&W's root beer. Haha

No. The predecessor to the M1919 - the water cooled Browning M1917 - was used, but the M1919 was named for the year it went into service - 1919, which was the year after the First World War had ended.
probably
No one could buy an Edsel in 1919. You'd have to wait until September of 1957 to get one.
Actually began production in 1912. Best estimate is c.1919-1920. Should have only FN markings and Browning's Patent Depose markings - no Browning Arms Co markings. sales@countrygunsmith.net go to browning.com and check services tab. menu will show "how to date your gun". *** Not Listed *** Unfortunately, Browning's excellent website does not list the FN Model 1910.
