That, of course, depends on how big you want the burgers to be.
This would depend on how you plan to serve the sandwiches. If you serve them on a plate with other foods, one plate per person, you would need 200 buns. It's always best to have extra, just in case you need them, so you would need about 10 extra. If you plan on having your guests prepare their own sandwiches in a buffet-style setting, you should have at least 300 buns to allow for 50% of your guests to come back for a second sandwich. If all your guests are adults and you really want to be on the safe side, have 400 buns to allow for seconds for everyone. You may end up with lots of extra buns, but you wouldn't have to worry about being embarrassed by running out of food and having unsatisfied guests.

why do we need to include low fat filling in a sandwich
If you make each sandwich with 4 ounces of meat, one sandwich would be a serving size. You should make about 150 sloppy joes, in case some people want seconds. This would be 37.5 pounds of meat.
Depends HOW they are going to eat it. Are they having it just as slices in their hand, or on crackers, or in buns.
To end up with a minimum of 30 buns and 30 wieners, you would need three bags of wieners (12 each) and 4 bags of buns (8 each).
I always figure about a 1/4 lb of meat for two buns...so it takes a 1 lb of meat for 8 buns. 1/4 lb of meat is considered a moderate serving of meat for an entree so for party buns you divide it in half. So basically Its 1 lb and a 1/2 for 12 buns...so multiply one pound and a half times 12 tht would be 18 lbs for 12 dozen buns..... add one more lb and a half.......so all that to say..you need a round 20 lbs of meat. give or take...hope that helps....it was fun to think about
Mr. Mendoza and his 23 students are planning to have hot dogs at their class picnic. Mr. Mendoza can buy hot dogs in packages of 12 and hot dog buns in packages of 8.Suppose that the class invites the principal, the secretary, the bus driver, and three parents to help supervise. How many packages of hot dogs and buns will Mr. Mendoza need to buy so that everyone will get the same number of hot dogs and buns with no leftovers? How many hot dogs and buns will each person get?
